Position Description
OneWeb Technologies (OWT) is seeking an independent contractor for approximately three months to support our Finance Team with the administrative tasks of compiling, managing, and updating vendor agreements. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of vendor/supply chain agreements; knowledge of the Defense and Space industry is a plus. The candidate should have a strong understanding of procurement processes, contract negotiations, and vendor performance management. This position will play a critical role in ensuring that OWT has effective relationships with our suppliers and vendors to support complex defense and space projects.
Responsibilities
Compiles, reviews, and manages a list of vendors for which agreements need to be updated and filed under Team Telecom’s Letter of Agreement terms.
Cultivates strong relationships with vendors by documenting their requirements, and effectively communicating OWT’s standards and expectations.
Conducts vendor evaluations to assess reliability, responsiveness, and overall satisfaction.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define and implement updates to vendor agreements.
Negotiates vendor contracts and agreements, including pricing, terms and conditions, and service level agreements if necessary.
Conducts market research to identify any potential new vendors and evaluate their capabilities.
Ensures compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to vendor management.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Strong understanding of vendor contracts, terms, and conditions.
Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Understands how to build and maintain a professional rapport with vendors.
Accounts payable experience is desired.
Experience with SATCOM or the telecommunications industry is preferred.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Must be self-motivated, dynamic, and a creative team player.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
