As a Field Support Engineer at Invisible AI, you will be responsible for providing onsite support services for the installation and implementation of our cameras in manufacturing facilities. You will be responsible for project planning, coordinating travel schedules for multiple customers, identifying needs, tracking progress, and reporting outcomes. Additionally, you will provide leadership and guidance to maintenance crews, contractors, and project support personnel throughout the deployment process. Maintaining open lines of communication internally and with our customers will be crucial for success in this role.


Responsibilities


  • Provide onsite support services for the installation and implementation of Invisible AI cameras in manufacturing facilities, as well as return visits for maintenance and support operations of IAI cameras.

  • Thoroughly check and approve operational quality of an existing installation.

  • Guide customers on how to use the Invisible AI camera system during deployment.

  • Understand metrics being tracked to provide maximum ROI to customers.

  • Project planning to coordinate travel schedules for multiple customers including needs identification, tracking, and reporting.

  • Provide leadership and guidance for maintenance crews, contractors, and project support personnel throughout the deployment process.

  • Contribute to documentation on standard operating procedures and system audits.

  • Keep good lines of communication with customer support leadership and customers.


Requirements


  • 5+ years of related experience, preferably in the Automotive or Camera/Vision Systems Industry

  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing and/or Industrial Engineering in a world-class manufacturing facility.

  • 60% Domestic and International travel is required, with flexibility to work overtime, on-call and weekends, as needed.

  • Experience in setting up network equipment.

  • Experience in PLC setup and/or programming is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Automation, Technology or relevant on the job experience is desired.
