Position Overview
The Recruiting/Sourcing Intern will assist in identifying, sourcing, and engaging top-tier
talent to support the company's hiring needs across technical, systems, and cleared
engineering positions. The intern will gain hands-on experience in the full-cycle
recruiting process, focusing on sourcing strategies, candidate engagement, and pipeline
development to support future growth demands. This role is ideal for a transitioning
military professional with strong organizational, research, and communication skills
seeking to expand their experience in talent acquisition.
Skills Required:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Research and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand immediate hiring needs and long-term goals.
Conduct candidate sourcing using job boards, networking sites, and internal databases.
Assist in screening resumes and identifying potential candidates for technical and cleared positions.
Support the development of targeted sourcing campaigns to attract qualified candidates.
Maintain accurate and updated records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Participate in scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate interactions with hiring teams.
Build and maintain a candidate pipeline for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
Support initiatives to enhance the candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Qualifications:
Required
Military experience with a focus on leadership, personnel management, or administration.
Interest in talent acquisition, recruiting, or human resources
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field.
Experience with recruiting or sourcing candidates in a professional setting.
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or HR software.
Exposure to technical or defense/aerospace industries.
