Responsibilities: 

• Designing and developing predictive models to support Navy operational readiness.

• Analyzing diverse datasets to identify trends and reduce mishap risk.

• Supporting optimization initiatives that impact cost savings and mission success.

• Collaborating with analysts and developers to create dashboards and data visualizations.

• Applying machine learning techniques and statistical models to safety, logistics, or operational data.

• Interpreting and communicating findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Education/Qualifications:

  

• Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher), with ability to maintain.

• A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with data analytics or engineering in any military or civilian setting.

• Familiarity with databases (SQL, Oracle, AWS/Azure environments).

• Experience with data visualization using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or R Shiny.

• Programming experience in Python, R, SQL, or similar languages.

• Understanding of machine learning methods such as logistic regression, decision trees, and neural networks.
